“Luiza is patient, friendly and always adds humour into her classes. She is very good at determining our ability level and tailoring movements accordingly so everyone feels completely included in her class. For a beginner like me, this atmosphere is the reason I keep coming back.”

I am a yoga teacher and breath coach. I continue to learn and explore that it’s not what I do on the mat that counts - it’s what blossoms when I come off it. It’s not unusual to hear from yoga teachers and students that yoga found them at a time in their lives when they needed it most - I am no different.

Discovering yoga was the start of my healing and it was simply life changing. Through experience, I have absolute belief in the opportunities for self-growth and possibility within yoga and somatic practices that create a meaningful life.

I have been trained by Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo-Deemer on the Daoist Flow Yoga (230 hours) teaching programme with Triyoga, London. I am also a qualified Breath Coach taught by Lucas Rockwood at The Yoga Teachers College, Barcelona.

My approach as a teacher is to help students navigate their journey through life with the inevitable ups and downs with a little more ease, acceptance, resilience, confidence and a dollop of humour. My teaching focuses on classes based on vinyasa flow yoga, pranayama and somatic movement practices.

Influences have included Jean Hall, Bessel van der Kolk, Pema Chodron, Dr.Edith Eger, Gabor Maté and Vanda Scaravelli. My biggest influence is of course my own experience thus far. The good, the bad and the plain old...meh!

I originally trained and worked as a graphic designer and the foundation of creativity and that flowing process continues to feed into my practice in yoga, somatics and movement. Exploration is the best part of the creative process and it’s the most important aspect of it too in my view. Without exploration, risk taking, making mistakes and trying out new ways of doing stuff - we will never fully discover the layers of our true creative potential.
