Yoga is an effortless dance with breath and gravity.
Vanda Scaravelli
Vinyasa, Daoist Flow + Pranayama
As an Executive Producer working in advertising, I fully understand the stresses and risk of burn out that can happen within our industry. With so much time spent at computers, in my experience stepping away and onto a mat for self-care brings much ease and relief to life off the mat.
I will guide you through a practice starting with some breath awareness as we slowly nurture our bodies into readiness for a gentle vinyasa flow. We will end our practice by integrating what we have felt and discovered over a 60 minute journey of awakening. This is an all levels class with emphasis on Beginners and all are welcome. Options will be offered to assist you where needed to encourage a deeper practice to connect your mind, body and spirit.

What to expect
Vinyasa is a style of yoga which synchronises postures, transitions and movements by using the breath as a partner and trusted guide. It is often called flow. We will practice a slow paced flow and I will introduce you to the principles of somatics. Yoga is considered a somatic practice as we move our attention to our inner experience.
Somatics practice uses the mind-body connection to help you observe your internal self and listen to signals your body sends about areas of tension, discomfort or imbalance. The most common naturally occurring sensations you may have felt from within will be your heartbeat, butterflies in your tummy and definitely your breath as it moves in and out.
Daoist Flow is a holistic and nourishing practice which encourages us to connect with our bodies, breath, and movement in a way that feels natural and organic.
This involves incorporating elements of qigong, somatics, and natural movement into the practice, all of which aim to promote a sense of flow and ease within the body. This practice is grounded in the belief that everything in the universe is interconnected and part of a larger whole, a principle shared by both Daoist and Yoga traditions. Daoist Flow cultivates a deep sense of awareness and connection with nature, both within ourselves and in the world around us.
Corporate Wellness
Investing in your team on a physical and mental health level is probably the best return on investment you could make. Staff burnout from stress and over work is a real issue. Offering your team a more holistic approach will benefit them greatly.
How do I know this? Because I work in advertising so I speak your language. I’m an Executive Producer these days but worked for many years as a motion designer and then Design Director. The creative process is fun and rewarding - but day in day out, it can take its toll too. I have worked at AMV BBDO, the Mill, Passion and now Woodblock. I have taught yoga to teams at Woodblock and Passion Pictures.
A weekly online yoga class that your team can tap into either first thing in the morning or after work once they get home could be a wonderful way to reward your team by showing them you care about their wellbeing. In the past this might have looked more like a card behind the bar at the pub. Not everyone wants that kind of kick anymore and the investment in their health may be a better choice. Healthy minds and bodies make for better and sustainable productivity. Contact me to discuss a plan and pricing.

Testimonials
“Luiza has been an amazing yoga teacher. I started my yoga classes with her right when I needed them the most. I've been through a lot of personal changes in my life and I was so focused at work that I felt disconnected from my body. Luiza helped me to reconnect with myself and my body through her teaching. She is peaceful, patient, really funny and creative during our sessions. My favourite moments are when she says that my Trikonasana is beautiful!”
— Nicole
“I wanted to say a huge thank you for your generosity and dedication in kindly fundraising for Macmillan again through your awesome yoga sessions! To date you have raised £1,789 which could fund our Online Community for 5 days reaching and providing 13,340 people with a space to hold each other dealing with cancer. Thank you so much Luiza. You’re amazing!”
— Manjyot Hira, Macmillan
“We do private sessions with Luiza because we wanted a bespoke experience which she offers us each week. We met her in our coffee shop Sawyer & Gray in Islington and immediately clicked with her energy and passion for yoga. We are quite new to yoga but Luiza creates a beautiful class that is really achievable and with lots of options if we can’t touch our toes! It’s not all zen zen either - she balances it with humour too which we love.”
— Marco & Steve
“I’ve been to many yoga classes where I felt intimidated by the teacher but Luiza’s friendly and approachable manner made me feel at ease in her class from day one.”
— Julia
“I really feel much calmer and in tune with myself during and after a class with Luiza. I also like that her classes feel quite different to other yoga classes I’ve been too as she introduces new things I had never tried before. Go for it even to experience Wild Horse shaking!”
— Rafaela
“Luiza is patient, friendly and always adds humour into her classes. She is very good at determining our ability level and tailoring movements accordingly so everyone feels completely included in her class. For a beginner like me, this atmosphere is the reason I keep coming back.”
